Problem with categories

Categories are not showing up in Problog.
I uninstalled and re-installed the addon, but still category list is blank.
Can anyone please suggest me what to do as no category adding option is provided in dashboard or what code should be added as solution?

when added a post you can simply type a category name in the category field and it will be added.
You can also head over to your Dashboard -> Pages & Thems -> Attributes area and edit the category field there.
