Problog, setup main blog with 5 subcategories

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi there - I have problog and I think it can do what I want, however I have to say the documentation leaves a little to be desired. I need to get some help with the setup. I am experienced with C5 and have setup and am trying to recreate a classic blog structure with Problog a la wordpress where subcategories are viewed in the same layout as the main blogroll.

I would like a main blog category - lets call it BLOG, and then 5 subcategories, 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5. so when on the BLOG page I see a blogroll of all posts in the blog (via the blog list tool). Then I need blogroll page for each of the subcategories so I have a similar page for each subcategory. I need these pages to have the same formatting.

So how do I structure my site map and what do I assign to be sections because with the sturcture I have created (attached) I get a MySQL error and I dont think I am quite doing it right.

I would really appreciate help to clear htis up

Thanks
