Remove unneeded tag/category

Is there any way that I can amend a tag or category that I have previously entered? I want to change the text of one of the categories (spelling mistake) and I accidently added "" (blank) as a tag and now it is showing every time I go to add tags to a new post.

Ah, I found it so in case it helps anyone else:-

You can edit/change the tag in the atSelectOptions table... just make sure it is not being used (in atSelectOptionsSelected table)
