Joanna, I'm in the same boat as you... but I JUST discovered how to view the video (at least I think it's the one people mentioned). Go to the main page for the addon (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/problog/). There's a little "PURCHASE" panel in the middle of the screen (between the main area and the sidebar). Just under that are four black icons; the play button brings up the video.

Honestly speaking, if I could permanently remove the Q&D area of my products I wold. I dont' check them. Mainly because it's unreasonable to expect a guy to keep up with a support area AND a forums area for over 30 products. That's 60 pages to keep up with. And I just can't do that very well.

Also, the support area allows me to track tickets and progress, and is more consistent with sending me email notifications.
