open up the listings page on your site, then put the page in edit mode, edit listings block in the main area, and then you should see an option to display a maps of listings (provided you've got the google maps key setup correctly).

regarding listing attributes, they're the same thing as page attributes. So navigate to the listing page, put it in edit mode, edit properties, and click the custom attributes tab. You should might have to choose it from the list at the top if it hasn't been set up as one of the default attributes for that page type. If you're setting up a new attribute type, then first create that in the page attributes section of the dashboard. you can then optionally edit that page type and assign it as one of the default attributes for that page type. But to get it to display on either the listings block or the listing page, you'll have to hardcode some php to output that.
