BETA version?

Too bad this add-on was abandoned - it's exactly what I need for a function on a new site. I manually installed it and it seems to work well with my theme. In the description, you say "Please check the forums of this package for a BETA version which may address some issues." Where would I find those forums or BETA version?

I *believe* the latest version of the code is this repo:

support discussion thread.
