I don't know if you're aware but I have a second 2FA add-on that might be of interest to you. The differences with this one are:

- No more override in the application folder
- If you have your own override in the application folder, the package will use it
- it has several 2FA systems (authenticator, email codes, magic links)
- It is extensible so you can add your own authenticators
- No more complicated user attribute, just a simple one.

It also has more options

I have plans to add Yubi Keys and mobile phone unlocking if possible.
