Navigation is vertical instead of horizontal

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I did a fresh install of c5 version 5.6 without data. I added a sub page to the home page. When I activate the theme, the navigation is vertical instead of horizontal and is not styled similar to the one on the demo site (i.e. shading, bullet points, etc).

Do you have any directions on how to style the navigation bar?

There is also a lightly grey shaded line within the body of the full width pages, is there a way to remove this?

Try removing the Ukao menu, I think that may be interfering.

It was happening before I installed the ukao menu. I removed it from the page uninstalled it. There is no change.

Try clearing your cache, I just installed Destyle on a fresh 5.6 site and the nav is fine.

I cleared the cache - no change. I completely wiped out my c5 install and reinstalled 5.6 - the only thing I installed on top of it was this theme - no change.

That is really odd, It seems concrete5 is pulling the wrong path for the template file (and choosing the default one)
