Social Icons break mobile layout (and adds horizontal scrollbar

Permalink Browser Info Environment
If you look at this page, you can see horizontal scrolling (and the autonav becomes a dropdown at 1024x768?

I've decreased the width of the header nav area, but to no avail.

Also on mobile, the autonav gets shifted off to the right:

I see no screenshots (nor documentation/demo) on mobile with the social icons added.

Please advise,

John

This is a purchased theme for a client, so not my login.

In case you don't have a device to test, here's the site on an HTC:

Sir John,

Sorry for the delay.
Can you make a Screenshots on each issue that you have.
I checked the mobile.me for HTC and I can't seem to figure out what is wrong.

Thanks,
RJ

Hi RJ,

Not sure why a screenshot is needed, if you view the site at 1250x800 the horizontal scrollbar appears.

If you resize the browser to 1024x768, or 800x600 it switches to the mobile select dropdown instead of the superfish menu.

I've even moved the social block into the footer instead, no difference.

This happens in both Firefox and Chrome.

Hi sir John,

I was able to fix the issue. Did you make any changes in the main.css file?
If not attached is an updated main.css file.

check Gold theme demo.

Hi RJ,

I uploaded the updated main.css file, it fixed a few things, but it's still buggy.

Here's what happens when using the Web Developer Extension for Firefox and Resize | View Responsive Layouts (on both your site and my development site):

http://demo.c5webdesign.com/gold...

320x480 = Horizontal Scroll
480x320 = OK
600x800 = OK
800x600 = Horizontal Scroll
768x1024 = Horizontal Scroll, Menu Messed up!
1024x768 = OK

http://57.steelesoft.net/ Same as above except:

800x600 = Horizontal Scroll, Menu Messed up!
1024x768 = Horizontal Scroll

Note that your demo does not display the Social Icons, which might have something to to with the differences?

I've added some screenshots in case you are not familiar with the Web Developer addon.

I don't seem to have any problems with the Red theme installed here:
http://sohaircity.com/

This is approximately where the horizontal scroll disappears in my Firefox (XP):

Window: 1167px x 800px
Viewport: 1159px x 700px

Hi sir John,

Sorry for the delay. Will provide an update for the theme this July with your observations.
We can barely work on our themes these days due to high volume of work and urgent projects

Hoping for you full understanding.

Thanks,
RJ

So I see you've released Red for 5.7, but this issue is still not resolved.

I think I forgot to mention that sometimes after editing a page the autonav does not display at all.

I sure hope this is resolved soon, my client is getting impatient.
