autonav

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have been playing with this theme I bought testing it before I use it to design a site. I can currently only get the autonav to display page titles vertically one under the other. I want to see them running across the screen horizontally.

I rarely ever use autonav so have no idea how to do this. Can you advise, or let me know how to ditch autonav so i can utilise superfish?

Thanks

Hi there,

The autonav block should automatically display across the screen horizontally like the demo with the pages in your site tree.

Can you supply me with a link to see what might be going wrong?

You can remove the hardcoded nav from header.php if you wish by removing everything from
<div class="row nav-container">

to the second </div>

Then add in your own block in the CMS below the site name.

Thanks.

It isn't much as I have only uploaded it into a sub directory of my web for now and it just uses basic preloaded data that took a few minutes from the initial concrete theme. I haven't touched or messed with any code or files at all thus far.

Looks like the autonav custom template that the theme uses is not being loaded for some reason.

Could you try going to the Dashboard and typing in Cache into the intelligent search and choosing Clear Cache, then click on the button, Clear Cache.

Let me know if that works. If not I may need your ftp login and admin login to see what is going on.

Hi Colin,

This post is actually visible to the public so I'd suggest you immediately change those passwords. If you need to send login details it is best to Private Message people by clicking on their profile pic.

I'm not sure why but something with your set up was not allowing the custom template to load from the packages folder. I've duplicated the autonav templates into your top level blocks folder and it is loading fine now. Just be aware that it's there.

This folder won't be overwritten by any updates to the C5 core.

Regards,

Gareth
