I see there is a new version 0.9.7. How do I update my version to see if this fixes the problem?
Hi
If you go to the transactions page in your profile you should see licences. Click in there and anything that you've downloaded through the marketplace will be listed. When you go to download a copy of one of the products, if there's multiple versions you'll be able to select the version you want.

I did the upgrade and this did not fix the problem
The page templates & themes were created when you ran the installer. Upgrading the theme won't create the templates etc. for you.
Have you any new content in yet or are you still working from the demo installation? The below steps will wipe any content you have in place but will give you page templates that you can select.
What you'll need to do is:
1 - Activate the elemental theme across all pages
2 - Uninstall the Peak theme when Elemental is active
3 - Reinstall Peak theme and install sample content
When the sample content goes in you should be able to create new pages. If you can't wipe your site get back to me & I'll give you the steps to make each page template editable.
Thanks

I never did in stall the demo, and I have a lot of content already in the database so I dont want to remove it
Try these steps. It's a bit tedious but once you do one page type you'll be able to replicate it pretty quickly.
1 - Go to the Pages & Themes section of the dashboard & click into PAGE TYPES (step1) & click on BASIC DETAILS. I selected Full.
2 - Change the Launch in Composer to Yes and Publish Method to Choose from all pages (step2) & click Save. I've set Allowed Page Templates to Selected Page Templates & chosen just the one that matches the page type name.
3 - Next Click Edit Form on the same line. This page should be blank (step3-a) so you need to click ADD SET. Name this & add it (step3-b). Hover over the new set & click the plus icon to add some form controls for composer. I added a Content block & the Built-In Property of Page name & Page Location (step3-c). When you have added in the fields you will need click BACK TO LIST in top right.
4 - You need to click on OUTPUT next. Now click Edit Defaults (step4)
5 - This will open up the template. Put it into Edit mode & scroll the list to the bottom where you'll see Other. Add Composer Elements block to your page where you want it to appear. (step5-a). Save your page and this is where composer will place the content from the composer form. (step5-b)
6 - Go to the site front end and click add page. You'll see the page type in the list. Select this & enter your starting text, page name & choose a location. (step6) Now publish this page.
7 - You should see the text you just entered on the page you just created. (step7)
Hopefully that gets you where you need to get to.

That did work, but kinda feel it should have worked correct from the beginning.
