Merge Sitewide Footers column 2 and 3 into 1

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi
I'd like to have just one wider column where currently Sitewide columns 2 and 3 are, but keep the rest the same.
I can't see any options to change the number of columns and/or the footer layout in the Pixel Options.
I expect it can be done relatively easily via the code but I'm not sure what I need to do. I'm not a programmer/designer but I'm good at following instructions...
Many thanks
Roger

Hi Roger,

You are right. You need to tweak the HTML code a bit to change the footer layout. It's a BS layout and it should be quite self-explanatory.
However, if you are not comfortable with the code, send me a sketch of what you need and I'll provide you with the required changes.

Cheers,

Hi Shahroq

Many thanks for getting back to me.

I literally just want to merge what is currently Column 2 and Column 3 into 1 wider column of the same combined width.

I'm happy with Column 1 and Column 4a and 4b as they are currently.

So you can see what I mean, here is the site:http://www.comosystems.co.uk/

So in the footer I'd like the 2 columns currently showing Social Media Share block and Legacy Form block next to each other in separate columns to be just one column. i can then have the Social Media Share block above the Legacy Form block, which then won't look quite so cramped.

I'm good at following instructions and can easily/happily cut & paste any new code to replace existing code as long as I know which file(s) to edit and line numbers to delete/replace etc.

Many thanks.
Best regards
Roger

Hi Roger,

I sent you the new footer.php file via private msg. You can replace it with the default one at:
`/theme_pixel/themes/pixel/elements/footer.php`
