Hey Everyone,

With 5.4.1 Released, I need help getting all the po/mo files up to date!

So if you havn't already,
go tohttp://mygengo.com/string/p/concrete5-1...

and hit request access,
include your concrete5 username and the language you would like to update.

If the language is not there, in the same place you put your c5 user name ask me to add the language.

Thanks!

Mike

Are these the same files which are in SVN (http://svn.concrete5.org/svn/concrete5-i18n/)? Why are there language files in two places? Which ones I should be using?

Hi Mike! :-)

The Portuguese-Portugal (pt-PT) translation is completed, in the sense that all items have now translation.

Still, some of previous items seem to me to be more from Brazil than Portugal. Is it OK for me to go at those too?

Thanks,

Hello Mnkras, I've only used svn until now but I wanted to see at mygengo if something was added there not in the svn. I've noticed then that it_IT refers to spanish language!!! Who can fix this and uplaod to mygengo the correct italian language?
Let me know something!

Hi, Mike!
Didn't you think that this page URL (http://mygengo.com/string/p/concrete5-1) on mygengo is a bit confusing? While you are talking here about translation of ver. 5.4.1.1, that page shows "concrete5-1"...
I think it may be confusing for many users trying to catch what really version of concrete5 translation they would download.
I.e. I'm not sure if I would better download .po file from your site or from SVN?....
Sincerely, Alexandr

where does it show 5-1 besides the url? in the zip there will be 2 files, one labeled 540 and one 541.

also there were no translation changes from 5.4.1 to 5.4.1.1

and use mine, the svn hasn't been updated in forever.

that is done by mygengo automatically to prevent conflicts, if you created a project with the name concrete5 it would be concrete5-2 I had no choice

Just downloaded Russian translation from mygengo, unfortunately it has wrong encoding. It is not utf8. Wonder who could make this strange mistake...
silavtebe replied on at Permalink Reply
Hmm...very strange, Poedit sees wrong encoding while in mc I see everything's Ok.
I'm lost...nothing to recode, but nevertheless Poedit sees unreadable symbols...

Look at the file attached.
None of Poedit settings help.

Im not sure what could cause that, make sure you have the latest version of poEdit

I use latest available version in my distr (ubuntu 10.04) and never had any problems with other .po files, i.e. .po file from svn is ok.
Let me guess: was this po-file made under windows? Then it may be more clear about the root of problem.

I have no idea, i would guess linux (mygengo compiles it) cause most servers run linux
