Adding Multiple Images Redactor

Permalink
Hello Friends ::

Does anyone have a way to allow Redactor to choose and select multiple files to be added to a content block?

We often have a need to add a list of 30 images to a page in a content block like this...http://www.cir.care/brand/use-examples...

With C5.6 +TinyMCE, this was possible. Redactor doesn't appreciate my multiple-image-choosing lifestyle.

Is there an extension that will allow this?

Marc

Looking at the Redactor change log, it seems there's a couple of fixes around this issue.

Hi stressdesign,

I don't believe there is a multiple image add option in the version of Redactor used in concrete5.

Based on the example you linked to, what you are trying to do would be better suited to a custom block. In the example, there is an h4 element followed by one or more images - this could be accomplished using a "multiple item block" (the Image Slider is an example of a multiple item block).

This block could be created from scratch or you could use Block Designer Pro I believe.

Info Box Grid could do that, but try Dynamic Images first as its some what a free version.

Thanks for taking time to respond gentlemen.

I'll look at the suggestions you make. Really just lamenting difference in the UI as compared to how this works with TinyMCE. I'll be interested to see how CKEdit handles this task in v8.

I don't believe CKEditor allows for multiple file uploads in the default image plugins. A plugin to do this could be made, but I think the dedicated block route is a better option.
