Improving SEO & Installing robots.txt

I'm trying to improve my seo and add a robots.txt file as described in the attachment.

Where do I add this? Any help would be appreciated.

PS I also changed my sitemap permissions to allow guests thinking this might help. Does it make a difference?

No, Do not allow guests to see the sitemap! sumbit the sitemap.xml (site.com/sitemap.xml) to google webmaster tools. There is a robots.txt included with concrete5.

After looking at the pdf, all they want you to do is add:

sitemap:http://site.com/sitemap.xml

Thanks that was helpful. I set back the proper permissions and just used google webmaster for now.

Also I had to use the dashboard and refresh my sitemap.

Like this:

http://www.site.com/index.php/dashboard/system/jobs/...

and refresh.
