Removing Temp files

I hope that someone can help.

My server is telling me that I'm now nearly up to the max allowed file count on the package I'm on with them.

I have loads of files in the /application/files/tmp directory

Is it safe to just remove this or is there a setting in concrete5 to automatically clean this up daily?

Many thanks

You can either remove those files in "files/tmp" folder manually or use one of the add-ons available in the marketplace to automate the process. In addition to the content of tmp folder, these add-ons will remove many other redundant files.

OMG! Thank you.

I just purchased the WEBSITE OPTIMIZER for $40 and my INODE count dropped from 132k to 55k.

A drop from 88% of my limit to 37%.

I can't thank you enough.

TOTALLY RECOMMEND this add-on. Worth every single $.
