Admin Notification Re-Sent Upon Form Edit

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Justin,

Wondered if I missed this addition from my previous requests on it, and if not, if you would be open to adding this to your roadmap.

When I edit a form, an email is resent to the email address entered via Advanced Forms/Settings/Edit Form/Send Email to. I personally use that as a way to have submitted forms sent to the site admin to review new submissions, and figure that is what it is generally used for. But having those forms re-sent when edited can make it confusing for that person who may not know the difference between a new submission and an edit.

I did not re-test if this re-sending of email notifications is also still happening for the Customer Notification emails. I had mentioned it in a support ticket along with a code error, and you said it had been fixed, but I figured that was just the code error, and not the resending of emails?

Either way, these changes would help.

Thanks,

Yeah, actually these have all been addressed as follows:

v.1.5 - Posted 6-8-2011
Feature - Option to send notification email only on initial submission (not on edit).

On the "Send email notification?" form setting the options are "No," "Yes," and "Yes, but not on edit."

v.1.5.2 - Posted 8-27-2011
Bug fix - Confirmation message not being sent from the specified name. This has been adjusted so that the confirmation is ONLY sent on the initial for submission and never on edit. There is not an option to change this.

That should take care of both issues. Are you using a newer version and still having problems?
