Advanced Forms not working with concrete5 5.6.3.4 'There was an error submitting this form. Please contact the administrator of this site '

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi There,

Since upgrading c5 to the latest version, Advanced Forms no longer works.

I've just tried updating Advanced Forms to 1.13.2 locally for testing but we still see the same issue - upon submit, the form continually displays the 'Processing' animation and we see the following error:

'There was an error submitting this form. Please contact the administrator of this site'

We can't seem to downgrade c5 because the update was a /concrete directory replace.

Please help (we note another person with the same issue since Nov didn't receive a response) as we have 8x forms on this site that are no longer working.

Cheers

Ben

Have fixed this issue by downgrading c5 by replacing the /concrete directory and updating: Config –> SITE_APP_VERSION in the database back to 5.6.3.3 (Apparently there were no DB changes in the update).

Hope that helps someone else if they get stuck. Are there plans to fix this or is it a c5 issue that needs to be raised?

Same issue here. Advanced Forms stopped working after updating to Concrete 5.6.3.4. I am monitoring this thread hoping a solution appears soon.

I am the other one that is having the issue with upgrading 5.6.3.4 - I did go into the config file and change it back to 5.6.3.3 and life is good again and the forms are working.

Sorry to say that I'm pretty sure this plugin is now unsupported.

Actually, it should be working with 5.6.3.4 now. If you can PM you CMS login info, I'd be glad to take a look.

We just now went from 5.6.3.2 to 5.6.3.4 and this issue is now occurring in all of our forms. 'There was and error submitting the form. Please contact the administrator of the site'. How can we fix it? I believe we're using the latest version of advanced forms(1.13.1). Would a reinstall of the component be a solution without losing all of our current forms (over a dozen)?

Try version 1.3.2.1, which I just posted.

I'm not doing much maintenance of this add-on anymore other than bug fixes. I just had a similar issue with another site running 5.6.3.4, so hopefully this new version should address it for you.

The Concrete5 updater doesn't see the 1.13.2.1 update; it's stuck on 1.13.1. Is it possible to download the updater and update it manually?
