Auto insert a certain 'Field' into notification email

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi there,

I'm just wondering if it's possible that when a notification email gets sent out, if you can place a name field into the notification email that will insert whatever the user added in as their first name. So for example, if they added in the name field: 'Joe' and if my notification email says:

Thank you for registering for our ski team......

It would instead say:

Thank you "Joe" for registering for our ski team.

This way every notification email would be personalized?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
