Connecting to logged in users

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Is there a way in the advanced form to pre-populate a field with a value from the profile of the logged in User? such as their First Name, space, and Last Name (not their username), which obviously would need to be first added as a new attribute to the C5 user profile for that user group?

And then, with Data Display, is there a way to filter the displayed results such that only those results show associated with the logged in user?

Thanks,

Not really, but I like both of these. I'll see about adding them to the road map.

Question - would you need to pre-populate if you could still track the user (which does exist currently), and then display user info in Data Display?

I think I could get around the pre-populate by putting another block above the form and just say something like, welcome "user's name", and make it obvious. I will give it a try and see how it flies with my client.

Can you tell me how to track the user and display their user info in the data display?

Thanks,

Hi Justin,

I got sidetracked on this project and wanted to get back on it.

Above you wrote that I could track a user and then display user info in Data Display (as a potential work-around solution to what I need).

I was wondering if you would be willing to either guide me in how to do that, or point me in the direction I need to go. I could not figure out how to do that and also know that there are some functions in the add-ons that I could not fully understand and that maybe it relates to them.

Thanks so much,

David
