Email Notification Data Display Templates

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have a form where I had to rename all the labels because the parser did not like the labels having pieces of html. Once I did this, all the data was being displayed on a data display page I created. But once this was resolved, the user email confirmation stopped working. In the email confirmation, all I had was the field names. This is what is being returned to a user once they submit a form

Name: <field name="First Name" ></field> <field name="Last Name" ></field>
Title: <field name="Title" ></field>
Organization: <field name="Organization" ></field>
Address: <field name="Address" ></field> | <field name="City" ></field>, <field name="State" ></field> <field name="Zip" ></field>
Phone: <field name="Phone" ></field>
Email Address: <field name="Email" ></field>

Could it be a simple syntax mistake? It doesn't make any sense. I have other forms returning user data as an email confirmation and they work fine.
