Form submissions aren't being received after conversion to Advanced Forms

Permalink Browser Info Environment
After converting the existing forms to Advanced Forms on my client's website, the form submissions are no longer being received. I submitted at least 3 forms this morning, but there is no record of them when I look in the "Records" part of the Advanced Forms page. My client also submitted a few within the last few days that aren't showing up at all.

Initially, my client didn't notice this was happening -- she wanted a Notification sent to whoever filled out the form and she informed me this feature wasn't working. I tried to figure out what was wrong, and that's when I discovered that the form submissions aren't being received at all.

Did something happen in the conversion to Advanced Forms? How can I correct this? Thank you.

UPDATE - the forms ARE being received, but they only appear in the log provided by Concrete5. They don't appear in the log provided by Advanced Forms. It's almost like the forms haven't fully converted. Is that possible?

My client is also receiving the submissions by email, but no automated responses are sent out to people who fill out the form.

Hi
Are you using an advanced forms block or the same core concrete5 forms block on the pages?
If it's the same forms block they won't go into the advanced forms process at all.
All you need to do is delete the C5 forms block and add an advanced forms block with your selected form.
Submissions should go through the advanced forms system then.

Hi Adam,

Your suggestion is exactly correct. A few hours after I posted this, I discovered, as you mentioned, that you have to change the blocks to the Advanced Form block. I thought when I hit "convert" on the form that it would automatically change the blocks. Silly me!

Anyway, you're definitely right! Thank you!

No worries. Glad you got it sorted. I know how frustrating it can be when
you don't get any answers and you're left scratching your head!

Glad you got all this sorted out! :)

I'll look into clarifying this process so that users understand more clearly how it works.

Thanks!

Thank you! I'm not very technical when it comes to these things, so I may just be someone who needs a little more explanation to get things working. :) I suppose there are others like me, though!
