Forms not submitting

I have create my forms and a submit button the correct way but the form does not see to be doing anything. Is there any configuration that need to be setup in Concrete5.

Doe I need to setup SMTP Mail function or does it use php mailer

If you can send a link I'd be glad to take a look. Sometimes there is a JavaScript error on the page outside of Advanced Forms that causes Advanced Forms to not function properly.
