Notification sent if no email address entered?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Justin,

For a specific form, under Notifications>User Confirmation, if I want to make my form such that a user CAN enter an email address to receive a copy of the submitted form - will there be any issue if there is no email address in the specified field?

Said another way, if I specify a field in Notifications>User Confirmation and there is no email address entered into that field on the form, will this throw an error of some sort?

Thanks

No, it shouldn't cause a problem. I believe it will still try to send the email, but nothing will happen since there is no one to send it to...but you shouldn't see any sort of error.

Keep in mind, it doesn't send a copy of the form data - it send only what you specify for the confirmation message.

Thanks. Good point about it not sending the form data. Given that it does not, it will not be as useful as my thought was to have an optional email field stating that if a form submitter wanted a confirmation of their submitted info - that they could enter an email address and receive it.

Not my priority, but that would be a nice future feature if you are keeping track.

Thanks Justin.
