Rules other than "Is Equal To" or "Is Not Equal To"

Is there any way to have a rule to show a specific form field IF the record is approved?

For instance, I've got a form where someone is filling in data for a classified ad.

There's a PayPal field at the end for them to purchase the ad.

I'd like to offer the option to renew the ad. The renewal price is lower than the original purchase.

I've got a PayPal Field for the original purchase and another one for the renewal. But I want to only show the first when creating the record and the second when editing.

Is this sort of thing possible?

Following up on this one. Is it possible to add a rule that displays a field if another checkbox field is selected?

Thanks
