Send File as an Attachment instead of sending a link

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Is there a way to send an uploaded file as an actual attachment rather than sending a link to the file? I was able to do this using Zend Mail with the concrete5 forms, but that change I used is not working with Advanced Forms.

There's not an setting that allows that, but you could modify the answer_set model to allow for it (models/answer_set.php), specifically the sendNotification() function.

Thank you for the suggestion. My client let me know today that a link is fine for now. I am going to look into the approach you suggest for future reference. Thanks for the Add-on - lots of great functionality!

I need to make this exact change. The client wants to be able to simply download the file from the form. I'm unsure how to modify sendNotification to make that work. Can you point me in the right direction?
