I haven't had a chance to update it yet. It's possible that it will work (but you'll need to manually install it).

Sorry, the timing of the 5.5 upgrade has been very unfortunate for me as I am unable to devote effort to programming for at least another week or two.

I just came on to determine the same thing. I was just experimenting with a fresh install of C5.5.1 and got the warning about Ajax Forms not being compatible with this version of C5.

However... I have another project that was originally built on v5.4.2.2 which I have been testing the upgrade to C5.5.1 with. That project had Ajax Forms installed and working... and it appears to STILL work after upgrade (although I'm not done testing, yet, so there may be something that I haven't uncovered).

Long and short of it? I would expect that Jordan's right and manually installing it should do the trick.

hmmm..nope.
Manually installing - yes , but no icons will appears in my concret 5.5 add block menu. I also saw the existing "modifying ajax form code" -thread ..again with no attention to get this wonderfull add-on running. Maybe somebody can tell me how to manually initialize the ajax form add-on?

Thanks.

What icon are you referring to? This is not a block, it's just a custom template for the form block -- so you should just be able to add the form block to the page and then choose the custom template.
Or do you mean that the form block's icon is no longer appearing in the list of addons? That would be a very bizarre error and I don't think related to this addon (although I could be wrong... but I've never heard of that issue before).

ahh... My fault!

I rooted your work from two different orientations, THE ajax form addon AND something called "tableless template for the default concret5 form".

With your help i just give it a try ..and what should i say

!! got and love it !!

.. could'nt imagine that a template would hold ajax functionality, just inspected the code and saw the ajax call. (now i hopefully can alter it)

Merci !!!!!
