Feature Request - default palette

It would be useful if the palette displayed by the color picker field contained the customisable colours used in the current theme(s) as well as the standard colours.

Hi there,

I will be programming the ability to add rows with colors (#fff, red, white, #ececec, etc etc) - free text input field. You control the rows and amount of colors per row. You can add as many as you'd like, but you have to bear in mind that having 20 colors in one row wouldn't work that good. But that's something the user will have to take care of.

You can see here they have rows with 3 colors, but if you scroll down a bit, you see rows with 8 colors as well. I like that the user is free to choose what he likes!

Hi,

Well it would certainly help. Just a bit more effort for the website editor.

It would also be good if it was possible to type in the color value required directly into the picker interface. It doesn't seem possible at present. Is that correct?

Hi Ken,

If you want to enter "#efefef" for example IN THE COLORPICKER ITSELF, check the checkbox "Show input" in Block Designer and you will be able to enter HEX code (or rgb/rgba or what you want).

As for the color palette, Block Designer is updated to v1.1.0 and got the option to create rows and colors in these rows. So you can create your own palettes and with as much rows/colors as you'd like! Some other minor edits/updates to this versions as well as you can see in the changelog.
