Variable number of items

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I would like to use Block Desginer to build an image slider. Each slide would consist of an Image and some textblocks (headertext, subline, maintext). With Block Designer at the moment (hopefully this changes) one can build a static structure for one slide but not for a variable number of slides.

So it would be too good to be true if in the add/edit form the built structure could be added in a "add entry" style like in imageslider shipped with concrete5. And furthermore these entries could be rearranged in their order.

Hi there,

I've had this request before, I know what you mean.

Unfortunately, it's not just a tick-tick-done feature. I've yet to talk with some developers of the right approach, as it would be frigging awesome to be able to use the current available field types to be repeated. But haven't come up with any good solution so far. I can imagine you want to require fields and such as well, within the repeatable items... It's still something I have to work out in a good way. If you're a developer, perhaps you can think along with me or with a group of developers. I simply don't have the strength to do this on my own (without input that is).

Kind regards,

Ramon
