Multiple images?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Love that this add-on allows me to easily style image margins and caption colors - much better than the default content block.

However, I am surprised that I can only select/style one image per block. If I go to add another image, my original one gets overwritten with the new selection. Am I missing something?

If not, is there any plan to add the ability to handle multiple image/captions in the same block? Otherwise I have to make new content blocks every place I want to add an image, which doesn't seem optimal. Thanks!

At the moment the block only supports a single pull quote or image per
block. The ability to add more than one pull quote/Image raises a lot of
issues in terms of layout and styling problems.

I may revisit the block in the future, but any changes to the core block
behavior would have to be intuitive, since lots of websites are using this
now.

Thanks – I appreciate the quick response! This helps me with some long term planning for my site.

I'll tell you what would be intuitive to me if that helps. With the regular content block, I first add an image using the "Add Image" link at the top left, and then after it is inserted I adjust the appearance attributes by clicking on the image icon in the editor toolbar. You can do this with multiple images in the same block, and I was hoping for the same with yours, except that I could elegantly handle captions!

I can see the issue right now though – your image option tabs are on the content block itself, not the editor's image pop-up window. I don't know the technical feasibility of controlling things through that rather than the entire block at once, but hopefully this is helpful info from the user perspective.

In any case, thanks for your work on C5 and putting this out there for others to use. Cheers.
