Auto-populate Dropdown Field

I see that AF's dropdown field has the option to auto-populate with several fixed value sets (states, etc.) Has anyone found a way in AF to auto-populate a dropdown list with values from another form? This is common in relational-databases but may be more than AF/DD is designed for. If AF/DD doesn't do it, has anyone else found a concrete add-on that has fuller database functionality?

Hello I don't know if you discovered this but the author added this functionality at some point - if you create a dropdown field type, one of the autopopulate options is to use another form's records. Quite handy
