Latest update - approve not working

I updated to the above versions a couple of days ago and since then admins can no longer approve or unapprove. They can click on the "approve" button and it appears to change to "unapprove" but no changes are committed - they revert once you refresh the page.

It has been working fine for the last 12 months, only broke when I updated.

However, I have had this trouble before with an earlier version but the support topic has been archived. I can't remember how it was resolved before...
