making url rewrite based on form field

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Really cool plugin, firstly. Kudos.

I'm wanting to make a list of links, with one of the fields in the form being the actual web address of said link. How could I easily make the data display detail block show this link *as a link*?

I've thought about creating a new Template placeholder called {{MYURL}} but that ends up being more php than I really know how to write. However, if there's an easy way, perhaps you could point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Perhaps I should also mention that the links are external to the website.

Ha! Of course, found the answer in the documentation finally.

here's what I did -- pretty simple (as usual).

<span class="yellow"><field name="li_url" placeholder="my-url" /><a href="{{my-url}}"><h1><field name="li_name" /></h1></a></span>
    <field name="li_desc" />
<br /><br />
<a href="{{LISTURL}}">Return to List</a><br /><br />

Works like a charm.
