Missing something obvious linking List to Detail page

Permalink Browser Info Environment
For some reason I am unable to get list to link properly to Detail page. I'm sure I am missing something obvious. The Single Record page does not produce any results (blank). I am attempting to link using "Associated Record". I can get the detail page to populate with data by linking to "URL Parameter", but the data displayed is always the first record in the database rather than the selected record. Any help would be appreciated.

List Content:
<tr>
<td align="center"><a href="{{DETAILURL}}"><recordid /></a></td>
<td align="center"><field name="Date" /></td>
<td align="center"><field name="Request Type" /></td>
<td align="center"><field name="Check Number" /></td>
<td align="center"><field name="Amount" /></td>
<td align="center"><field name="Payee" /></td>
<td align="center"><field name="Category" /></td>
<td align="center"><owner /></td>
<td align="center"><timestamp format="F j, Y" /></td>
<td align="center"><approve /></td>
</tr>

Hi Adrian,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you...do you mind PMing me admin login info to your site? I'll take a look as soon as I receive this from you. If you are using the Data Display Single Record block on that page, there could be a setting that is incorrect or something. It's hard to know without looking at it.

Sent you PM. Thanks for looking into this. I really like the block, but need to learn how to use it better.
