Queries across multiple database tables?

Hi jgarcia,
i have a very basic question before purchasing. Presuming that this could be of interest for others too, i'm using this forum section instead of the Pre-Sale Questions section.
For a client i would need to create custom queries from multiple database tables - can this actually be done with that addon, or does 'data display' just mean to have a search/filter functionality for only one database table?

thanks for your fantastic work with this add-on. I am also interested in a search box that looks into many forms. Is this possible right now?
