Search using Concrete5 search

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

The normal C5 search does not seem to search through the advanced forms. Is it possible to use C5 search or do I have to have to separate search fields? One for the site and one for advanced forms data?

Cheers,
Anthony

As of now, Advanced Forms data is not indexed into the main C5 search engine. It gets tricky because technically, Advanced Forms doesn't know what page the data lives on or is displayed on. Data Display kind of does, but only when it's in detail mode.

Generally, if I need searchability using AF/DD, the search feature of Data Display works pretty well. There are options to add in within the Data Display block settings.

Hey,

The search you built for AF/DD is great. I'm looking for an option to only have one search on the site. Visitors tend to get confused with multiple.

Thanks,
Anthony
