Template list not linking to the template details

Permalink Browser Info Environment
How can i make this work? I have try all the options but the link from the list template to the detail template always shows the same record, although i see that the URL changes slightly, to reflect a different asID.

in the list template i have <td><a href="{{DETAILURL}}">more</a></td>

i have selected configured the block to Limit to records owned by user? and also to render in a page already created (is not creating a page every time a new form is submitted)

On the detail page, i have the block set to current user to record owner, this is the only one that displays anything, but it is always the same.

So, how do i set the block so list links to details.

On the detail page, are you using the regular Data Display block, or the Data Display Single Record block?

I am having a similar issue - when I display the detail on the same page as the list everything seems to work fine, but when I try to use a short list (name only) to link to a different page, I can't seem to figure out why it's not working!

I am using the Data Display Single Record Block.

See -http://shawfuneralhomeinc.com/ for the list in the left sidebar, which should link to the full obituary. On the Obituaries page (http://shawfuneralhomeinc.com/obituaries/), it works fine.

The List template on the home page code is:

<p><a href="{{DETAILURL}}"><field name="Full Name" ></field></a></p>

You've got two options here...

1. Use the regular Data Display block instead of the Single Record block. This, I believe would solve your problem without issue.

2. On the Single Record block set "Method of specifying which item to display" to "URL parameter" and set "Parameter Name" to "dd_asId"

#1 worked but #2 did not!

What is the single record display for?

I havent seen this in the documentation anywhere.

Anyway, I decided not to use the single record, at least for now.

Thanks for your help thought

PS: Your products are really good, although i am really looking forward to more documenation.
