Add store to multiple groups

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Is it possible to modify this to allow a single store to be in multiple groups?
I have a client that sells various brands and wants to filter store by brands stocked.
As many stores stock a number of brands it would be useful to add them to multiple groups rather than have to duplicate the sore details for each group.

Hi,

i am getting the following error when adding stores

An exception occurred while executing 'INSERT INTO bthwstorelocationgroup VALUES(?,?)' with params [null, "2"]: SQLSTATE[21S01]: Insert value list does not match column list: 1136 Column count doesn't match value count at row 1.

If I go to the store list and edit store I can add group and save ok but cant add group when adding store.
I am also seeing no API Key message when editing store even though API has been added.
C5.7.9

Sorry, I must have overwritten that file with an older version when getting ready.
1.3.1 fixes this issue.

Hi,

Thanks for that.
I am still getting the no API Key warning when I edit a store even though I have entered the key and saved.

1.3.2 fixes that.
Sorry for missing that issue.

When entering a new store, the groups are not saving and we have go back and edit to add group. :(

Also would it be possible to include the groups (categories) in the store details for the results panel?

I Have just updated to the latest version and the groups are not being displayed in the result.
The show category field is checked.

I have also found that if you do a post code only search it will show no results if there is not at least one store in that post code.

Try 6006 post code no stores and then 6004

Colin,

Where are you missing the category?

So if there are no results within that postcode and distance you have chosen, then you will get the message that no stores are available in that location.

Hi,

The issue with the postal code is that there are stores with in the selected radius but not all within that postal code.
On the clients site as per link above if I search for store just using 6006 post code I get no results. If I enter an address within the 6006 post code I get results including one with a 6006 post code. (try 48 elizabeth street north perth 6006 and also try just post code 6005 and 6007).
Is the issue with the addon or Google as some post codes work and some don't?
As for the Categories, I was wanting the store category included in the detail of the results list.
The reason for this is that if you search without a category filter there is no way to see which category the stores are in. In this clients case they have two product ranges and they want the result to show which range/ranges each store stocks. I thought that you had added this feature in the last update, if not is it possible to pay for this feature?

I think the issue is with google. I will look into adding that search box as a dropdown where you can select the correct address. I'm guessing that google is searching for the postcode in the wrong country.

I will have a look at adding the category to the sidebar.

I've just pushed an update that enables you to select the address.

Can you give that a try and see if it is google not returning the correct result.

Hi,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.
The address look up has solved the issue of no results when just adding a post code unless the user ignores the address selection drop down and doesn't select a valid address.
Have you had a chance to look at including the store category in the details displayed in the search result when category filter "all" is selected?
