Would like a "time" option for the Date type

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Jordan,

First-time user here — finally — and I was happy there was a Date type (which I see was added somewhat recently) and then surprised that there is not an option to include a time with it. Is this something that could be added as a choice when constructing the block fields?

thanks,
Kirk

To add some context: what I'd like to do is create a very simple events list (the marketplace offerings for such things are not to my liking). Each event will have a date and a start time. Might also have an end time. So I'd like to be able to create a Date object (start) with the day and time, and another Date object (end) that also has a time associated with it. Or maybe even three separate Date fields: one for the date, one for the start time, and one for the end time. So if the fields for the Date object could be date, date and time, or time only that would be very flexible. I have a vague recollection that's how Concrete5's Date type works.

Not sure how difficult that is to incorporate and definitely don't expect it anytime soon (if ever)... I'm going to look for another solution for now. Just adding a user opinion and a-hopin' and a-wishin'!

ps — I noticed that the Date object can't be used as the Block Item Label. That's understandably tricky as what output format would it use? But it would be nice and maybe even essential for the use-case modeled above.
