How can I add a Start Discussion button at the top of my forum?

How can I add a Start Discussion button at the top of my forum? At present mmbers have to scroll down to the bottom of the topics to start a discussion. I would like to add a button at the top of the page. Example page here:http://technicskn7000.com/kn7000-forums/technics-kn7000-discussion/...

You can only do this by editing the Discussions page type itself. This should exist in your theme directory.
