How do you change the width of the menu?

I have been playing around with the css and have been able to change the background image of the titles. There is a section that has the following:
I have played with the width, but it had no effect.
I then changed the following:
and added a width parameter, but this only effected the content, not the title.
I want to shorten the length of the title image and center it. Any idea on how to do this? I also tried changing the .ccm-easyAccordion-title, but that had no effect.
