Layout editor not available in "pages and themes"

Hello,
I want to put this addon into the left sidebar of my theme (Luminosity). Because I want to have it on every page. Therefore I tried to put it via "pages and themes" directly into the themes layout of "left_sidebar".
To use the addon I must set a layout with layout-editor before. But this is not possible in this case. It only works, when I set the layout in every single page manually.
Is there a solution to put a layout into the theme?
