Best way to format data as a table from a third party source

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am not sure the subject line explains it all but here is my question. I have a client with a third party database for their products. We have a product that can have several available sizes which are actually products themselves. So in a way, it's a many-to-one situation. How can he format his export file so that 1.) The related products all are imported into a single field (Assuming that is the best way, what would the best field type be?) and 2.) how can we then take that info and format it as a table? Would it better if we simply created a series of fields called avail1, avail2, avail3, etc.? I could see how we could then build a table from that info.
