Compatibility with newer XML format

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am experimenting with using Filemaker Pro as an intermediary solution for data transfer between a proprietary inventory system and eCommerce using your wonderful addon. Filemaker has two XML export options one called FMPXMLRESULT and one called FMPDSORESULT. FMPDSORESULT, though deprecated, is the perfect export option taking field names and bracketing them just like we want, ie, <name>David</name>. Lovely. However I was wondering whether your import routine also supports the newer XML format where the data is exported as <COL><DATA>David</DATA></COL> with the field names and formats listed at the top. The reason being, is that there is a certain data type I might not be able to get to export under the older format. Thanks for your help.

No, eCommerce Import only supports the one format. XML is a very generic format specification (HTML, for example, is XML), so there are virtually infinite number of formats that could be implemented via XML. Import only supports the one format, though.
