CSV 2 XML Custom Attributes with multiple values

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi

How do I add Custom Attributes with multiple values in the CSV file.
For Custom Attributes with a single value I need to just add a colum with the handle name and then add the value in the cells. Do I need to add a split char. Or is this not supported in the CSV2XML ?

I hope you understand my question.

Regards

Benedikt

The CSV2XML script is only suitable for simple attribute values. I does not support multi-value attributes. You will need to find another way to generate the XML for those attributes.

Hey Todd!

The last version of Import Addon for ecommerce still doesn't allow multiple values for a attribute?

Can you give me any idea, how to do that?

Import has always supported multiple values for attributes (where appropriate) when using the Import-native XML files. It's only the CSV conversion script that doesn't support multiple values. Because the CSV format is very limited, there are no plans to add mutli-value support. Please note, though, that the csv2xml.php script is very simple; with some PHP skills you could easily extend it to support your specific needs.
