Is there a way to import the product set (prsID) into eCommerce through your import addon?

Yes, there is. Please see the Attributes tab of the context sensitive help on the Product import page. You should see an XML tag named "product_set" listed there. In your import XML set the "value" of this attribute to the name of the product set you want to assign the product to.

Can this be done so that you can add it to multiple sets? FYI I tried using multiple value strings but it threw an error. "1054: Unknown column 'Array' in 'field list'] in EXECUTE("insert into CoreCommerceProductSets (prsName, uID) values (Array, '1')")"

Yes, you can import products into multiple product sets. You just need to repeat the "product_set" attribute for each product set you want to add the product to. See the attached XML file for an example. Note that this may not work with older versions of Import; if so, please update to the latest version.
