Screenshots and Demo

In consideration of purchasing...

Could you provide some screen shots? What about an online demo?
Ideally a demo for this type of add-on would provide for an Admin Login to demo the back end. I'd especially like to know how much of the API it integrates (compared tohttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/mailmonkey/... which I know isn't eCommerce integrated, but seems to do a lot with the API)

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Mailchimp2Ecommerce.

It is actually very different than MailMonkey and doesn't serve the same purpose at all. If anything I would say they are complementary.

What MailMonkey offers is the possibility to have users sign-up to a Mailchimp list and be grouped using interest groups. Then, it allows you to get the data from Mailchimp directly in your site's dashboard. As far as I know, it doesn't do anything with the data Mailchimp isn't already doing.

Another big difference is that MailMonkey is still using version 1.3 of the Maichimp API which is supported but deprecated. Ecommerce2Mailchimp uses the latest 2.0 API.

What my add-on does, on the other hand, is save any data you want when subscribing someone to your list AND most importantly saving their orders in Mailchimp as well. You can ask them for their age, gender, preferences... and couple that to the full list of products they bought.

Imagine that a customer buys a nice skirt and that, 1 week later, she automatically receives an email promoting a blouse that would look just lovely with the skirt she just bought.

Or somebody buys a dozen bottles of wine and, a few days later, is automatically sent a free list of recipes that would taste wonderful with that particular wine. Then, at Christmas time, they receive a special offer for a wonderful champagne.

All that totally automatically thanks to Mailchimp powerful list segmentation tools and autoresponders.

My add-on feeds Mailchimp all the eCommerce data that make all this possible. When you know that repeat buyers represent on average more than half the revenue of any business and that repeat buyers are easier to please than new ones, you can easily see the value of such a tool.

Now concerning screenshots and a demo, I didn't include them for a reason. The screenshots would really not say much as it is on dashboard setting screen with lots of fields. As for the demo, it is not offered for security reasons. To work the demo would require you to input your Mailchimp Api Key and the next user would see it.

If you are interested however, I could arrange a private demo so nobody else but you would have access to your data and you could test the add-on.

Let me know if you would like me to arrange this. You can contact me directly on my email nour@kalmoya.com
