Well, there is nothing built into the package to allow for printing or downloading the list. However, a couple things come to mind:
To print a list, put a "Print User List" (or similar) link or button somewhere on the page (probably in the custom template for the list) which will open a separate window with a printable version of the user list. (If the user list is the only thing on the page, then you might not need to open a separate window.) To create that printable version, just use CSS styles and the "print" media type to make the list look exactly as you want it to appear when printed. Here are a couple resources you can consult:
If you need to get the user data into another program, such as a spreadsheet, then take a similar approach but use a bare-bones html table (with minimal or no styling) in the list template. You should then be able to copy and past the data directly into something like Excel.
Of course, neither of these is an ideal solution, since for a large list, you'd have to copy and paste (or print) each page, but it's better than nothing. If you open a separate window, then you can configure the block on that page to have a large number of users per page. Hope that makes sense.
