Receiving Error Messages

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

I am using this on an intranet I am developing for a client. Their IT Director generated and API yet it does not work. I receive an error message saying I need a new API key, yet they just got this. As well, I am getting a Javascript error despite the fact that the default Google Maps works just fine. Any idea what could be going on?

Also, is an icon required?

Thanks,
Spencer

Hi Spencer,

I working on a new version that allows you to use a default icon. For now you have to select an icon. It could be the same icon for each location though.

The key from Google should be working. The only thing I could think of is that Google can't read the intranet location. So you have to add the IP-address of the internet location instead of the full URL.

There is also the possibility to add a development key. This key allows some more functionalities. Get the key from:http://code.google.com/intl/nl-NL/apis/base/signup.html...

Hope you'll figure it out!
