No longer showing in blocks

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I was having the same problem I noticed another person had where the page was no longer editable after adding fancybox links. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the package, and now it doesn't show up as a block to add though it shows installed on the dashboard. Wish I would have checked the forums first.
Love the box though. It was a huge part of my site so I would love to have it back.

Hi, Shine4897
From my experience, when a page becomes no longer editable after adding a block it is usually caused by a javascript error. In those cases the easiest workaround is (AFAIK) to go to the dashboardhttp://your-site/index.php/dashboard/... an rever the page to a earlier version from the sitemap. Prior to that it is also advisable to disable any javascript/CSS compressor, optimizer, etc. if you are using any and make sure that it is not the cause of the errors.
At the moment, we are not aware of any javascript error caused by the addon, but if you can reproduce the error it would help us to identify the cause.
On the other hand I have set up a concrete5 install and I have installed, removed and reinstalled the addon without any issue. Searching for "block reinstall" I have found a few similar cases in the forums with a variety of blocks involved, but none of them pointed to a clear solution (for example:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/add-on-blocks-disapp...
If you can provide more details about your case we will be glad to try to help you.

Regards

I have been able to find and install the block based on info from this post.http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/customizing_c5/custom-blo...
But it's back to it's old ways locking me out of editing. Now I will try the other troubleshooting you recommended, and hope this thing works soon!
